B&Bs

Breakfast & Brunch

Not hard to see why B&B’s take such pride in their breakfasts – it’s in the name. Mini packets of cereals, watery skimmed milk in a jug by the radiator and pre-used pots of marmalade with a mouldy butter trim just don’t pass muster these days, nor should they. With all eyes on provenance, many B&B’s and hotels are producing the freshest, most local breakfasts they can – homemade jams, breads and granola, own-smoked bacon and organic sausages, eggs from their own, urbanite hens: such is the expectation that standards are growing ever higher. Which is all the better for us.
